Shivoham Fabtech manufactures high-flow Drainage Geocomposites – an advanced prefabricated drainage system engineered to completely replace conventional aggregate and gravel layers in civil infrastructure, retaining structures, and landfill basal systems.
Built for absolute long-term performance under massive earth pressures, our Drainage Geocomposite consists of a highly compressive 3D polymeric drainage core (geonet or geomat) that provides unrestricted, high-volume in-plane water flow. This central core is thermally bonded on one or both sides to a premium non-woven, needle-punched geotextile filter.
When placed against a structure or beneath the soil, the geotextile filter actively prevents microscopic soil fines from washing into the system, while allowing free water to pass through into the 3D core. The water is then rapidly channeled away via the core’s void space, entirely eliminating hydrostatic buildup behind walls or beneath foundations.
Drainage Geocomposite – Available Range
For projects requiring pavement base reinforcement alongside drainage, explore our Biaxial Geogrid. engineered to resolve specific geotechnical challenges. Because subgrade bearing capacities (CBR values) and anticipated traffic axle loads vary drastically from site to site, a single geogrid grade cannot safely serve every project.
Drainage Geocomposite — Technical & Performance Properties
High In-Plane Flow Capacity
The extruded 3D polymeric core is designed to maintain a substantial open void ratio even when subjected to extreme vertical or horizontal ground pressures. This ensures rapid, continuous evacuation of trapped subsurface water, effectively stripping hydrostatic pressure away from critical buried infrastructure.
High Compressive Strength
Unlike inferior corrugated plastics that crush under deep burial, our geocomposite cores are manufactured from high-density virgin polymers designed to resist severe compressive stress. The composite maintains its flow channel integrity behind deep basement walls, massive bridge abutments, and deep sanitary landfills.
Advanced Filtration Mechanics
The thermally bonded non-woven geotextile acts as the primary ground filter. Its Equivalent Opening Size (EOS) is matched to the native soil profile, retaining the soil matrix while permitting water inflow — eliminating core blinding, bridging, or piping failure for long-term drainage performance.
Why do Engineers Specify Geocomposites?
Efficient Sub-Surface Fluid Management with Lower Maintenance Costs
Modern civil infrastructure demands drainage systems that are predictable, reliable, and practically immune to clogging. Shivoham Fabtech’s Drainage Geocomposite provides a highly efficient, space-saving alternative to traditional thick aggregate stone drains.
Applications in Civil Infrastructure
Quality & Testing Certifications
Our products undergo rigorous testing at NABL and GAI-LAP accredited laboratories to verify in-plane flow capacity, geotextile permittivity, and core compressive strength under strict loads. Supported by comprehensive certifications, our drainage solutions meet stringent international performance requirements
