Engineered Reinforcement and Drainage Solution for High Load earth retention
Shivoham Fabtech manufactures and supplies high-performance geosynthetic products for the construction of Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) walls, reinforced soil slopes, and critical retaining structures. By integrating high-tenacity tensile reinforcement with advanced hydrostatic drainage layers, our reinforcement materials allow contractors and engineers to build taller, steeper, and safer structures while significantly reducing the need for expensive concrete and imported fill.
Modern transportation infrastructure demands sub-base reinforcement that is predictable, durable, and chemically inert. Shivoham Fabtech’s PP Biaxial Geogrid provides a high-efficiency alternative to deep soil excavation or thick aggregate replacement. Through rigorous quality control—from base polymer extrusion to final junction strength testing—we deliver a product engineered for absolute reliability.
Preventing Soil Shear and Yielding
As retaining walls increase in height or carry heavy highway and railway loads, the internal soil mass naturally attempts to shear and push outward. We arrest this movement by installing layers of high-strength PET Geogrids or Geostrip reinforcement into the backfill. These elements act as tie-backs, locking the soil into a monolithic, structural mass capable of bearing immense lateral earth pressures.
Eliminating Hydrostatic Pressure
Water is the #1 cause of retaining wall failure. When groundwater is trapped behind a wall face, hydrostatic pressure multiplies the forces pushing against the structure. We solve this by deploying Drainage Geocomposites and Dimple Boards vertically against the back of the wall. This instantly intercepts groundwater and routes it to the perimeter drain, permanently protecting the wall from hydraulic force.
Accommodating Differential Settlement
Unlike rigid, poured-concrete walls that crack when the ground shifts, flexible earth retention systems reinforced with our geosynthetics can absorb significant foundation settlement without structural failure. This makes our reinforced soil retaining structures ideal for projects built over soft or unpredictable subgrades where rigid foundations are too expensive.
